Most of the motorbike tours are based on the Thuringian Forest Nature Park Route and, in addition to the attractive routes, also offer the most popular excursion destinations as stopovers. We have made sure there are plenty of places to stop for refreshments and would like to show you the most beautiful corners of our home region. Please note that our tours do not correspond exactly to the nature park route, as we have worked out round trips to and from Oberhof for you. We will be happy to provide you with the GPS data for the tours with the booking confirmation so that you can prepare your routes even more easily.

The Thuringian Forest Nature Park Route winds its way through the ancient cultural landscape from Hörschel on the Werra to Saalfeld on the Saale in the heart of Germany’s green heart. Let yourself be enchanted by the unique and fantastically beautiful route of the Nature ParkRoute and the more than 120 sights along the route right through the Thuringian Forest ! The Nature Park Route guides motorised visitors along 450 km like a guiding line to the most beautiful places in the Thuringian Forest. The nature park route crosses the famous Rennsteig ten times. Back and forth, up and down, criss-crossing idyllic routes: through narrow valleys criss-crossed by streams, across wide plateaus with fragrant mountain meadows, through mysterious forests, through historic towns and unspoilt villages, past monumental castles and romantic palaces. Experience how the climate and landscape change in the smallest of spaces – from the sun-warmed, light-flooded foothills of the mountains through shady forests to the rugged peaks of the Rennsteig. Oberhof -Steinbach-Hallenberg – Schmalkalden – Tambach-Dietharz – Georgenthal – Ohrdruf – Oberhof | total length approx. 102 km
An enchanting motorbike route over hill and dale. You start at the hotel and ride along the Oberhof sports facilities towards Grenzadler. On the way down to Kanzlersgrund, the impressive Oberhof ski jumps are on your left. It’s worth making a short stop here to take in these structures at your leisure.

This tour takes you from the ridge of the Thuringian Forest down to the wide pastures of the Thuringian Mountains. You may catch a glimpse of the numerous cattle, horses, goats and sheep, the inhabitants of the Thüringeti. Continue in the direction of Ilmenau via Gräfenroda, the birthplace of the garden gnomes, over hill and dale to Christmasland on the Rennsteig.
